Ah missing accidents is a blessing! I just missed one on my birthday last month and it was a 3 car accident it was horrible, a few houses down from where I live and I had to go alll around to get home. I am always glad I miss accidents or theft or anything bad. Good thing you didn’t get affected in any way.

I’m so sorry you had this experience with ranger and your past history with doctors! I 100% agree with Mathew in regard to the doctors looking out for themselves (money) instead of patient care. I just went through this first hand where I had X-rays and blood work for my heart. (Anxiety attack but wanted to confirm everything was okay) all results came back normal! The doctors insists I see a cardiologist, get a CTa scan (inject me with a liquid which overtime can damage your kidneys) and expose myself to radiation that is not necessary! I wouldn’t have known this if I didn’t see a second dr for his opinion! He flat out told me don’t do these tests if everything is normal there is no need to expose yourself to these extra exams unfortunately my PCP which I thought I cared for me just wanted even more money off of me. It’s so sad

As a idiopathic gastroparesis girlie, and a clinician myself, I’m curious as to how your md thinks we are to look bc there is no phenotypical characteristics that are noted unless he indeed is thinking of those with T2DM or autoimmune issues🤔 i cant believe someone would tell you no fiber, force a surgery on you and not test for celiac while already there. So sorry youve had that experience 😔 Happy ranger wont be treated by those women, bc that’s wrong what they did.

Girl, I feel I relate to you so much! I’m from the valley and moved to ATX about 9 years ago & people are so rude here, it’s unfortunately common here now. No need for that aggressiveness, it’s frustrating. I’m so sorry you had to deal with this. You should look into Crestview Vet Clinic at Tech Ridge. It’s a bit north but the staff is amazing, they have treated me and my baby with so much love and they’re affordable!

Girlllll your doctor and vet experiences were sressful! I feel for y’all! I used to have a pet i took to petsmart vet and same thing. It’s just not the same care at a pet store vs actually veterinarian. Like you said, you get what you pay for. Shit customer service is my biggest pet peeve. Hopefully ranger (and you!!) feel all better soon. All these vets seem to be going way more online. Our vet even now requires $50 paid at time of booking which then applies to visit and if we miss it then we lose the $50 and we also had to confirm like 3 text and emails we’d be there. Hang in there!

I get every relationship is different but…. So, Mathew works full time, and you’re home all day and yet you had HIM cleaning while you got your nails done? Why didn’t you just throw him and ranger out for a long walk while YOU cleaned. Then had him clean the things you might not like doing like the bathroom and mopping. I felt so bad for him. He looked tired but took this like a champ.
